Teachers’ Alliance has a broad platform of social justice, environmental sustainability, educational equity and a commitment to social democracy. In brief we stand for:

• Abolition of the VIT
• An end to forced school closures and amalgamations
• Pay equity for CRTs
• No private/public partnerships
• Fair wages and no divisive “performance pay”
• The right to strike
• A democratic and inclusive union
